LO4: Evidence of editing (original band) [Scrapped content]

This was the first of the three photos that i want to edit onto black and white playing cards for my front cover. in order to achieve this i will change the image to have a black and white layout and increase the shadows more. After this i will edit it onto the playing card and decide if further editing is necessary.





















After this the photo is ready to be edited onto the playing card.

 

This image is to appear on the double page spread that will feature the interview with the band.

I want to edit it so that it reflects the urban atmosphere of inner city sheffield. I will therefore add to the contrast and make it apear more cold.

After trying to change some more details of this image i decided to change the design of the page entirely and using the following image.

In order to make this image suitable for my magazine i decided to use the spot healing tool in order to make the models appear more of an ideal partner/ self my process for doing this can be seen below.

I eventually decided that I only wanted to feature one member of my band on the DPS in the black and white style that i will also be using on the front page.

Therefore the content shown above was scrapped.

I have decided to use mostly black and white photos for my contents page in order to draw attention to the main image I am using for the contents page. This image is the one which i edited on lightroom before saving my present and applying it to the others which I have shown the before and afters of below.
