Lo1: Specification tearms

1:Circulation
How many copies of the magazine will be printed and distributed.

2:Readership
The size of the Group of people/ demographic who will read the created magazine.

3: Frequency
How often will te publication be available? weekly/ bi-weekly/ monthly

The following teams apply to any media products that are printed For example:
  • Magazines
  • Newspapers
  • Billboards and posters
  • Leaflets
  • Business cards

4: Trim
Te trim is slightly larger than the magazine so that nothing is cut out

5: Bleed
The bleed is where the background will fill/ the space it will occupy. MUST BE LARGER THAN THE SAFE AREA.

6: Safe Area
Where the text and images come up to and stop on the page.

These statements all reffer to the placement of key features in a magazine they are all important when it comes to printing the product.
